The mould consists of several, closed-cell, spherical structures with a glazed surface that was manufactured using a special procedure. Our insulating boards provide the perfect basis for every breathable thermal insulation composite system.

 

 

The bonding agent used here enables plates to be manufactured from glazed Isoball with 80 kg/m³. Despite the bonding agent, the plate product only has a total weight of 100 kg per m³. The material is therefore very sturdy and can be adapted well. Heat insulation values (λ) of 0.047 –0.07 W/mK (depending on the desired material thickness) complete the trendsetting attributes.

 

The raw materials are a naturally-occurring volcanic rock that consists of alkaline aluminium silicates, which may vary in their composition.

The product is not a hazardous substance according to the Chemicals Act or the Ordinance on Hazardous Substances.

 

 

The insulation mould made of Glazed ISOBALL is highly resistant against fire. If the temperature remains below 1,200°C for up to 90 min, the material remains free of cracks and retains its impressive insulation values and its energy saving attributes.
